At the 2013 PATA Annual Summit in Bangkok, Thailand, PATA Chairman João Manuel Costa Antunes presented an Award of Merit to Bernhard S. Clever, Air China's Director of Sales Development - North America, for his many years of contribution to the workd of PATA chapters in North America. In a letter to Mr. Clever, Honours Committee Chairman Inder Sharma stated that "While the committee was given a large field of candidates to consider for PATA honours, we especially noted your many outstanding contributions to our organisation’s chapters over the years, and extend our heartiest congratulations on your nomination."
PATA DestinationsFeatured at the 2013 Klaus Billep representing the Southern California PATA Chapter was featured speaker at the Asia seminar of the Los Angele Times Travel Show in February. His panel participants were Mary Barnett, Concierge Sales SITA World Tours, Barbara Bryant, Managing Director Trails of Indochina, Bernhard Clever, Director of Sales Development - North America for Air China, and Mok Singh, Country Manager USA & Canada for Kenya Airways and President of Skal International.

Wagner, a dual UK/German national, speaks fluent English, French and German and has a working knowledge of Italian and Dutch. She is very familiar with the travel industry and associations. From 1998 to 2003 she was Vice-President, Corporate Affairs for the World Travel & Tourism Council. For seven years in the 1990s she was Executive Director of European Tour Operators Association.
