Asia To Be Featured at LA Times Industry Travel Show

The Los Angeles Times 2012 Travel Show at the Los Angeles Convention Center is providing an exclusive Travel Industry Conference on Friday, January 27; the consumer show will be on January 28 and 29. The afternoon session, from 2:00 to 4:00, will feature industry seminars on nine subjects, including Asia.
As the Executive Director of the Pacific Asia Travel Association (PATA), Southern California
Chapter, Klaus Billep will be the featured speaker at the Asia seminar from 3:00 to 4:00. His panel participants are Mary Barnett, Vice President of Sales, Pan Pacific Journeys; Bernhard Clever, Director of Sales Development, North America, Air China; Peggy Peterka, Marketing Manager, Tourism Authority of Thailand and Lillibeth Bishop, Director of Marketing and Public Relations for North America, Air China Limited.
Registration for travel professionals is $30 which includes lunch and the industry reception.
Subject for the opening presentation, between 11:00 and 12:00, is “A View from the Top – an Interview with Travel Industry Leaders.” This will be followed by three presentations during the next hour, with lunch between 1:00 and 2:00. Keynote lunch presentation is by Peter Yesawich, Chairman, Ypartnership.
After the in-depth travel industry seminars, the exhibition floor opens and the industry reception will include one-on-one appointments with sponsors and exhibitors.
