PATA Appoints Ferguson
Director-North America

PATA has appointed Mr. James M. Ferguson as PATA Director-North America, effective August 1. Mr. Ferguson’s travel industry experience includes sales and marketing tenures with Korean Air and China Southern Airlines, and as Director, North America, Tahiti Tourist Board. PATA President and CEO, Mr. Peter de Jong, said: "Mr. Ferguson comes to PATA with vast experience in the tourism industry through former roles with international airlines, a national tourist office, tour operators, retail and wholesale operations. Importantly, Jim has a clear understanding of the importance of the chapters in North America having served in various chapter capacities for more than two decades.” Mr. Ferguson will be based at PATA Americas Division office in Oakland, California.
